Objective
The company needed a creative way to communicate that it had moved its office to a new location. It wanted a more interactive alternative to the usual static emailer, and to incorporate some tongue-in-cheek humor to communicate its personality.
Summary of campaign
An eDM was created to inform recipients on 8RewardsRoad’s office move in December 2008. The eDM had a cheeky twist with an ‘Office Warming Wish list’ which requests recipients send ‘office-warming gifts’ from a list pre-selected by us. Gifts were customized to each client’s product or service. Clients were directed to a page on the 8RewardsRoad website where they could then submit an online form advising whether they would accept or deny our request.
In addition, a
digital billboard was created for recipients to submit their greetings and well-wishes for the move.
Once readers fill in the form with their greetings, it will be submitted live to the website and posted in the office on a flat-screen TV.
