Objective

The client needed a solution that would improve navigability of the Citibank cards section, increase applications for cards, and raise clickthrough rates to the individual card pages.
Summary of campaign
We created the Citibank Card Recommender to make a customer’s credit card search more intuitive. Users simply need to select the credit card benefits they most need, and the site would return a recommendation of two cards that would best meet their requirements. A card comparison feature on the site further enhances the learning experience.
Campaign results
The average amount of time spent on the site has increased – users now spend 1.5 – 4 mins on the site. As a general guide, the number of credit card acquisitions has increased, although no specific figures have been released.
