Objective

KPMG was concerned that its offline recruitment drive at colleges and universities was incongruent with the dry, corporate nature of its online collateral. We were briefed to create a compelling and fresh careers site that was more in sync with the image of their recruitment drive and would inspire young adults to join the company. To achieve this aim, the application process also needed to be streamlined and simplified.
Summary of campaign
The KPMG careers microsite was created with lively imagery and ease of navigation in mind. We enabled Google Analytics tracking to gauge the effectiveness of the campaign. To add a human face to the company, we used interviews with staff and images of current events. Clear calls to action such as “Apply Now” and “Have A Question?” were prominently placed on the site to encourage applications and interaction with potential visitors.
Campaign results
Online applications have surged. Search results on Google are high and hit rates on the KPMG careers site have increased by 50%.
